Ms. Emery a partner with the firm, and her primary area of practice is Family Law. Ms. Emery handles divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, support and/or alimony, and adoption cases. Cases involving name changes and prenuptial agreements are also handled by Ms. Emery as well as her assistant, Sallie Beth Todd. Ms. Emery serves on the Guardian ad Litem list for contested custody cases, and also on the Guardian ad Litem list for adoption cases. Ms. Emery is a certified Family Court mediator, and is certified to mediate not only private cases but Court appointed cases as well.
Ms. Emery's primary passion is children's advocacy cases. Ms. Emery strongly believes that children are the true victims of the cases that come before the Family Court, and she strives to make a difference in the children's lives.
